Why this storefront
A custom front end on the Shopify platform
Live catalogue
The Storefront API supplies the products, the prices and the images. Each page shows the data that the store has at the time of the request.
Server-rendered pages
The server renders each page before the browser gets it. The 3D scene loads in the browser after the page is ready.
Motion with control
The 3D form turns slowly on a plinth. The customer can drag the form to turn it. When the device asks for reduced motion, the form stays still.
Shopify cart and checkout
The cart uses the Hydrogen cart API. Shopify checkout completes each order.
